Spaghetti Mama's

Spaghetti Mama's has recently changed their menu and they have great GF options. You can get pizza, lasagna, fettucini alfredo, spaghetti and salad. The ice cream they serve is so good...it is cherry/chocolate and it's gluten free and dairy free.

New GF Restaurant

I was at Against the Grain today and got info on a new bakery which opens August 21st on 9495 S 560 W Bldg D called Eleanor's Bake Shop. All of their food will be gluten free including sandwiches $4.50, soups $3.50, salads, muffins, cookies and cake balls. They had a sample of the cake balls (which are a little bigger than a donut hole and frosted with fondant) and they were delicious!

I also heard that Red Rooster in Jordan Landing has gluten free waffles which are very good, and Buster Burgers in South Jordan has GF buns for hamburgers.

I should also let you know in case anyone eats at Cafe Rio that they have recently changed their recipes and they add gluten to everything except the vinaigrette dressing and grilled meat. The company told me nothing else is GF any longer.

Great and Gluten Free Deal

You may or may not already know this-But if you don't it is quite wonderful. I took my kids to this new fun place by VF Factory Outlet called Incredible Pizza Company. There was a coupon in the Hometown Values Magazine that gets each person in for $10 (3 and under are free for everything) Now this covers all you can eat all day long at the pizza , taco, potato, dessert, drinks and more bar...plus all day access to laser tag, mini bowling, mini golf, go carts, and bumper cars! It is a great deal. The greatest thing was that they will make you any pizza you want GLUTEN FREE! Even a dessert pizza! It was so awesome! Cream of Chicken Soup

My husband created this soup recipe. It works wonderfully! It bakes up very nice. This recipe makes equvilent to one can of soup.

Cream of Chicken Soup

2 tblsp. Butter
3 tblsp. Sweet Rice flour
1/3 cup milk
1 cup GF Chicken broth
2 oz. Cream cheese

Melt butter add flour. Slowly stir in milk and chicken broth till smooth. Add cream cheese stir till melted.

New Betty Crocker Bisquick

Betty Crocker has a new Bisquick for Gluten-Free. Haven't tried it yet. If any one has tried it let me know how it works.
